The Oceansouth Waverider Removable Socket Seat Pedestal with Slider – Dome Base combines adjustable seating comfort, shock absorption and convenient seat positioning in a durable removable system. Manufactured from corrosion-resistant anodised aluminium and marine-grade components, it is designed for reliable performance in both freshwater and saltwater environments.

Available in three adjustable height ranges, the gas-powered Waverider mechanism provides smooth height adjustment while helping absorb impacts from waves, wake and choppy conditions. This reduces the shock transferred through the seat and helps minimise fatigue during extended periods on the water.

The integrated seat slider provides convenient fore and aft adjustment, allowing users to fine-tune their seating position for improved comfort and control.

The pedestal can be easily lifted out of the dome base when the seat is not required, helping free up deck space for fishing, storage, cleaning or moving around the boat. The heavy-duty marine-grade aluminium dome base measures 230mm in diameter and 100mm high, with six mounting points providing a strong and stable platform.

Who is Oceansouth?

Oceansouth began in 1985 in a small garage in Melbourne, Australia as a part-time project making boat ladders and bimini tops. It quickly grew into a global leader in the design and manufacturing of marine accessories.
