Constructed from extra-strong 160g/m² synthetic tarpaulin fabric, this cover provides excellent durability and is fully waterproof to keep your boat safe and dry. As a good economy option, it includes our ingenious Tie Down Kit for a secure and tight fit, protecting your boat from the elements.

The Oceansouth Universal Storage Cover’s design includes no metal parts or abrasive seams, ensuring your boat’s finish is protected from potential scratches during storage or transport.

Important – Please Note

If trailering with the cover on the boat at speeds greater than 60kph, ensure the tie-downs are secure and taut, but avoid overtightening as this can lead to tearing when traveling at high speeds. Visually inspect the cover and tie-downs at regular intervals during your journey. At speeds greater than 60kph we highly recommend using two light ratchet straps (not included) tightened over the bow and secured to either side of the trailer to help reduce forward wind pressure on the cover and tie-downs.

We also recommend placing a soft barrier, such as foam underlay or pool noodles over any protruding items on the boat that will come into direct contact with the cover’s fabric and potentially wear through over time—such as rod holders and rocket launchers. This simple step will help extend the cover’s lifespan, ensuring many years of reliable use.

1. Measure the Overall Fabric Length

Using a tape measure, take the following measurements on your boat, making sure you measure from 20–30cm below the point of the bow of the boat (where the hem of the cover will be) all the way back to 20–30cm below the stern. Ensure the tape measure goes over the highest parts of the boat, such as the windscreen, Bimini, roof, rocket launchers, or stern bait board (whichever applies).

2. Measure the Overall Fabric Width

Measure 20–30cm below the widest part of your boat on the Port side gunnel and across to 20–30cm below the opposite Starboard gunnel. Make sure the measurement passes over the highest point of the boat—such as the windscreen, Bimini, or rocket launcher.

Once you have these two measurements, refer to the Overall Measurement Guide to find the best-fitting boat cover.
