Watch Our Video on How to Measure Your Boat
1. Measure the Overall Fabric Length
Using a tape measure, take the following measurements on your boat, ensuring you measure from 6-12 inches below the point of the bow of the boat
(assume this is where the hem of the cover will be) back to 6-12 inches below the stern. Ensure the tape measure goes over the windshield.
If you have a Bimini top, make sure it is folded down and resting on the gunwales, and that when you measure from bow to stern, the tape measure goes over the folded-down Bimini.
If your boat has a permanent Bimini or a similar structure mounted, this style of cover will not be suitable. Please consider the Jumbo-style semi-custom covers instead.
2. Measure the Overall Fabric Width
Using a tape measure, take a measurement 6-12 inches below the widest part of your boat on the Port side gunwale and across to 6-12 inches below the opposite Starboard gunwale, ensuring that the measurement goes over the highest part of the boat, such as the windshield.
Once you have these two overall measurements, refer to the table below showing the overall cover dimensions for each size of cover offered, and match them up to arrive at the best fit for your boat.
