The Oceansouth Waverider Socket Pedestal with Slider – Flat Base combines adjustable seating comfort, shock absorption and a removable socket design in one versatile marine seating system. Manufactured from corrosion-resistant anodised aluminium and marine-grade nylon, it is designed for dependable performance in both freshwater and saltwater environments.
Available in three adjustable height ranges, the gas-powered Waverider mechanism provides smooth height adjustment while helping absorb impacts from waves, wake and choppy conditions. This reduces the shock transferred through the seat and helps minimise fatigue during extended periods on the water.
The integrated seat slider provides convenient fore and aft adjustment, allowing users to fine-tune their seating position for improved comfort and control.
The pedestal can be removed from the low-profile flat socket base when the seat is not required, helping free up valuable deck space for fishing, storage, cleaning or moving around the boat. Once removed, the supplied round cap fits neatly into the base opening. The heavy-duty 9.1" cast aluminium base sits only 0.6" above the deck and features six mounting points for a strong and stable installation.
Compatible with all Oceansouth Boat Seats and many other major brands, the Waverider Socket Pedestal with Slider is an ideal upgrade for boaters seeking adjustable positioning, improved ride comfort and a removable seating arrangement.
