Stainless Steel Ratchet Tensioning System

Unlike conventional boat covers that rely only on an elastic hem, the Oceansouth Bass Boat Cover features heavy-duty webbing running continuously around its lower edge.

The integrated stainless steel ratchet allows the webbing to be tightened firmly around the hull, pulling the cover securely into position. This reduces loose fabric, improves the overall fit and helps minimize movement and flapping while the boat is stored or transported.

The corrosion-resistant stainless steel ratchet is enclosed within a protective fabric pocket. This prevents the metal ratchet from coming into direct contact with the boat, helping protect the hull against scratching or damage during storage and travel.

Designed for dependable performance in demanding freshwater and saltwater environments, the ratchet system provides a strong, secure and easily adjustable fit.

Designed for Bass Boats

These covers have been developed in two distinct profiles to suit the different shapes of popular bass boats:

• V-Nose Bass Boat Covers – MA 208 Series: Designed for conventional fiberglass-style bass boats with a defined V-shaped bow and broad casting decks.
• Mod-V Bass Boat Covers – MA 209 Series: Designed for modified-V aluminum bass boats with wider, squarer bow profiles.

The shaped design accommodates the low-profile decks and
raised console areas commonly found on bass boats. Sizes are available for boats with single or dual consoles, depending on the boat model and selected cover.

Premium ATLAS Marine Fabric

Manufactured from durable 8.8 oz/yd² ATLAS marine-grade polyester, the cover provides dependable protection against sun, rain, dirt, saltwater and environmental pollutants.

The fabric is water-resistant while remaining breathable, allowing trapped moisture and condensation to escape. Its UPF 50+ UV protection helps prevent fading and deterioration of the boat’s upholstery, electronics, carpet and exterior finishes.

Important – Please Note

For trailering, ensure the ratchet hem and all tie-downs are correctly secured and taut without being overtightened. For prolonged highway travel above 40 mph, we recommend using additional light ratchet straps over the cover to reduce wind pressure and fabric movement.

Place a soft protective barrier over sharp or protruding fittings that may rub against the fabric. The cover should also be supported so that rainwater cannot pool on its surface.
